SASPA EXPANDS IN SWITZERLAND:
INTRODUCING THE DEDICATED GENEVA SECTION
The Swiss Aviation Services Providers Association (SASPA) is taking a significant step forward in its commitment to addressing local industry challenges and engaging with stakeholders by establishing a dedicated local footprint at Geneva Airport. The SASPA Executive Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Tommy Foehn as the Managing Director of the newly formed Geneva section.
The decision to establish a dedicated local section at Geneva Airport is a strategic move by SASPA to better address the unique requirements and priorities of the local aviation industry. With this expansion, SASPA aims to strengthen collaboration with existing members having a branch at Geneva Airport, while also inviting locally-established firms to join the association.
Tommy Foehn brings with him an impressive track record, having been with Gate Gourmet Geneva for over 40 years, of which 16 years as Managing Director. His deep understanding of the local airport and aviation community makes him ideally suited to engage with key stakeholders at and around Geneva's International Airport. Tommy Foehn's leadership will further underscore SASPA's commitment to contributing to the development of the platform and nurturing the aviation community's growth.
SASPA, representing major organizations and more than 9,000 employees providing essential ground & cargo handling services at international airports in Switzerland, has a crucial mission to address both common national and local challenges. The association's goal is to ensure a safe, prosperous, innovative, and sustainable future for airport operations and the Swiss aviation community as a whole.

In 2023, the Swiss Aviation Services Providers Association (SASPA) represents major compagnies with 9500 employees at the three major Swiss airports. Members include AAS, Cargologic, CGS, dnata, Gate Gourmet, ISS, Swissport and Vebego.
